Wearing Wool Exhibition

Come along and see Marina Skua and I as we show our wool work in Bruton, Somerset this October.

Marina is a knitter and spinner and fellow member of the South West England Fibreshed. She works with wool from Fernhill Farm and other local farms and will be showing her special capsule collection that was created through visits to local farms, exploring the land and working with their sheep wool.

She will also have plenty of hand-dyed pre-spun wool available for purchase along with some smaller handcrafted items.

I am looking forward to showing some of my newer handwoven wall pieces, scarves, cushions and lavender bags.

You can join in too! We will have a rigid heddle loom, spinning equipment and possibly a carding drum with us, to give you a taster of our processes.

Wearing Wool will be a celebration of local wool and the importance of local sourcing, processing and crafting in fashion today.
